Tearful farewell to 15 Bamroli girl victims
15 girl victims of Bamroli village were cremated on a single large pyre

It was a heartrending scene at Bamroli village on Wednesday afternoon when the fathers of the 15 girls of the village who died in the bus mishap at Bodeli, gave mukhagni to their daughters and bade them farewell. The bodies of all the 15 girls were placed in a row on a single, long pyre, and cremated. Villagers were unable to hold back their tears when the wood caught fire and flames were seen around the victims' bodies. Nearly everybody present began to weep loudly and bitterly. Villagers could be heard mumbling through their tears how just a day back their daughters were planning to learn embroidery or thinking of going on a picnic. Nothing had come of their daughters' plans, the villagers said.
