Four of a family among 6 killed as truck rams auto
Pregnant woman among the mishap victims

Six persons, including four of one family, died when an auto-rickshaw carrying them ran into a truck near Zalod on Wednesday night. One of the accident victims was a pregnant woman who was being taken to a hospital. Police have registered a complaint against the truck driver.Zalod police said Bhuriben Mohan Vadi, a resident of Dhavadia village of Zalod, was on way to Zalod hospital when, near RTO checkpost, a truck coming from the opposite direction hit the auto-rickshaw. All the five passengers of the auto-rickshaw - Kiran Vadi, Mariyam Vadi, Naru Vadi, Magan Vadi, Bhuriben Vadi - and driver Rafiq Patel died on the spot. The truck driver fled away from the spot.
