Marriages are made in heaven, but, I think, are celebrated only in Indian culture, says Frode Haugon, who has come to Vadodara all the way from Norway to marry Nisha, a Indian-origin girl. The couple will get married on Sunday.Born and brought up in Norway, Nisha Mistry, a cardiologist by profession, had met an American engineer Haugon at a friend's place. It was love at the first sight, and the two took barely a month to decide they were made for each other."When our family members agreed to our marriage plans, I expressed my wish to marry Indian style," said Nisha. Father Babubhai was too happy to know her daughter's wish. Frode's parents - Arne and Kari - are happy too. They said, "We were so excited with our son getting married in India and in a traditional Indian way."The couple is now busy going through the numerous pre-wedding rituals and is quite excited for the D-day. Frode is really excited to come to the venue on a horse with Bands playing hindi songs. Frode bowed down to my parents when he first met them. The marriage ceremony is really very interesting and full of fun.
